We will start at the hotel in Ushuaia, in a south-easterly direction, and will follow national route No. 3 towards the Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Along the way, we will stop at the surroundings of the Equestrian Centre, where we will have excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, the Ushuaia peninsula, and the Bridges, Willie and Les Eclaireurs archipelagos. And we will face the origin of the Murray Canal.

After crossing the Río Pipo bridge, at the side of the Ushuaia Golf Club, we will reach the Train of the End of the World station, where some passengers may wish to board the train.

We continue our journey for 2 more kilometres and enter the National Park, a reserved area for the protection of the Sub- Antarctic Forest, and native flora and fauna. We will wait for the arrival of the train at the crossing of Ensenada Bay.

The way to Lake Acigami(formerly known as Roca Lake) is surrounded by indigenous trees such as lenga, ñire, guindo (sour cherry),and peatbogs. This is a glacial lake, with a surface of 5,50 km2, surrounded by mountains and forests, where it is possible to spot indigenous birds.

The last stretch of the excursion takes us to Lapataia Bay; on our way we will see cormorans, peat bogs and environments altered by beavers.

In Lapataia Bay, in addition to the sea coast, rich in clams and mussels, we will find traces of the indigenous people who inhabited the area. We will have time to go along the walkways, built in order to protect the soil and the archeological remains of the first inhabitants of the place 6,000 years ago. In the walkways there are panoramic lookouts from where you will be able to enjoy the sensation of being at the end of the world.
